Els perills als quals estaven exposats els nostres avantpassats estaven relacionats amb la superviv\u00e8ncia i amb les funcions prim\u00e0ries de <span class=\"color_azul\">lluita, fugida o paralitzaci\u00f3<\/span> (lluitar contra els animals, competir contra altres humans, c\u00f3rrer, batallar, amagar-se, immobilitzar-se per passar desapercebuts, etc.). Totes aquestes accions requereixen una activaci\u00f3 muscular alta.<\/p>\n<p>Avui dia, hi ha molts perills que no se solucionen atacant o lluitant f\u00edsicament, per\u00f2, malgrat aix\u00f2, conservem el component de sobre-activaci\u00f3 motora alta quan interpretem que una situaci\u00f3 \u00e9s amena\u00e7adora. L\u2019encarregat de coordinar aquesta activaci\u00f3 motora i tots els canvis f\u00edsics relacionats \u00e9s el <span class=\"color_azul\">sistema nervi\u00f3s aut\u00f2nom (SNA)<\/span>, tamb\u00e9 conegut com a sistema nervi\u00f3s vegetatiu.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"color_azul\">L\u2019SNA forma part del sistema nervi\u00f3s perif\u00e8ric<\/span>. \u00c9s un sistema involuntari que s\u2019encarrega de regular funcions tan importants com s\u00f3n la digesti\u00f3, la circulaci\u00f3 sangu\u00ednia, la respiraci\u00f3 i el metabolisme. El sistema nervi\u00f3s aut\u00f2nom es divideix en dos subsistemes que tenen funcions diferents: El sistema nervi\u00f3s simp\u00e0tic i el sistema nervi\u00f3s parasimp\u00e0tic.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"color_azul\"> El sistema nervi\u00f3s simp\u00e0tic:<\/span> s\u2019encarrega de prepara el cos per a l\u2019acci\u00f3 i la producci\u00f3 de l\u2019energia necess\u00e0ria. Per fer-ho activa l\u2019alliberament de dos productes qu\u00edmics (l\u2019adrenalina i la noradrenalina), que desencadenen una resposta completa, \u00e9s a dir, s\u2019experimenten tots els s\u00edmptomes que componen la resposta de l\u2019ansietat (lluita, fugida i bloqueig).<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"color_azul\"> El sistema nervi\u00f3s parasimp\u00e0tic<\/span>: \u00a0produeix efectes oposats al sistema nervi\u00f3s simp\u00e0tic. Afavoreix la desactivaci\u00f3, la recuperaci\u00f3 i la restauraci\u00f3 de l\u2019organisme. Afavoreix l\u2019emmagatzematge i la conservaci\u00f3 de l\u2019energia. Ho fa mitjan\u00e7ant la acetilcolina, un neurotransmissor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"color_azul\">Qu\u00e8 passa quan el nostre cervell (escor\u00e7a cerebral, am\u00edgdala) interpreta que estem davant d\u2019una situaci\u00f3 perillosa?<\/span> Es comunica amb el sistema nervi\u00f3s aut\u00f2nom, que activa la branca simp\u00e0tica i afavoreix una s\u00e8rie de canvis f\u00edsics per preparar l\u2019organisme per lluitar o fugir. Vegeu quins son aquests canvis agrupats per sistemes.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"color_azul\"> Sistema muscular<\/span>: es necessita que els grans grups musculars (extremitats i altres) entrin en acci\u00f3 i es tensin per poder emprendre l\u2019acci\u00f3 de fugir o de lluitar.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"color_azul\"> Visi\u00f3<\/span>: les pupil\u00b7les es dilaten per poder tenir una visi\u00f3 m\u00e9s n\u00edtida i m\u00e9s aguditzada en el centre del camp visual, on se sol situar el perill, per poder discriminar-ho millor o per saber per on s\u2019ha de fugir.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"color_azul\"> Sistema cardiovascular<\/span>: s\u2019encarrega del transport i la distribuci\u00f3, per via urgent, de les subst\u00e0ncies nutritives y de l\u2019oxigen. Com ho fan? Mitjan\u00e7ant l\u2019increment del ritme i la for\u00e7a dels batecs card\u00edacs. A la vegada es produeix una redistribuci\u00f3 del flux sanguini. Els m\u00fasculs directament m\u00e9s relacionats amb l\u2019activitat f\u00edsica reben m\u00e9s sang. Per contra, la pell, els dits de les mans i els peus, i la zona abdominal reben menys sang.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"color_azul\">Cervel<\/span>l tamb\u00e9 es produeix una redistribuci\u00f3 de la sang que afecta, d\u2019una banda, el flux disminueix a l\u2019\u00e0rea frontal (zona vinculada amb el raonament), i de l\u2019altra, augmenta a les zones relacionades amb les respostes instintives i motores (c\u00f3rrer i lluitar). La redistribuci\u00f3 del flux sanguini al cervell pot produir sensacions de mareig, confusi\u00f3 i dificultar algunes funcions cognitives superiors, com la capacitat de planificaci\u00f3 o el raonament, que es restabliran quan l\u2019estat d\u2019alarma desaparegui.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"color_azul\"> El sistema respiratori<\/span>: la preparaci\u00f3 de l\u2019organisme per a una reacci\u00f3 r\u00e0pida i intensa requereix una aportaci\u00f3 energ\u00e8tica extra (gl\u00facids i l\u00edpids). Aquestes primeres mat\u00e8ries es transformen en energia mitjan\u00e7ant processos de combusti\u00f3, per al qual es necessita oxigen, el combustible del nostre organisme, en major quantitat.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"color_azul\"> Sistema exocr\u00ed<\/span>: el proc\u00e9s de sobre-activaci\u00f3 propi de la resposta de lluita-fugida produeix un augment de la temperatura corporal, que per refrigerar-se l\u2019organisme compensa tot incrementant la sudoraci\u00f3. D\u2019altra banda, la pell lliscosa a causa de la suor dificultar\u00e0 el ser capturats.<\/p>\n<p>Tots aquests canvis constitueixen la resposta fisiol\u00f2gica de la ansietat; resposta que, al seu torn, acaba influint o modulant les respostes cognitives i conductuals.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"color_azul\"> Com i quan s\u2019acaba la recci\u00f3 de defensa?<\/span> La reacci\u00f3 sol frenar-se quan ens sentim fora de perill, quan el perill ja no \u00e9s present. Per frenar la resposta de la ansietat se solen posar en acci\u00f3, d\u2019una banda, el sistema nervi\u00f3s parasimp\u00e0tic, que com s\u2019ha vist anteriorment, s\u2019encarrega de protegir i reparar l\u2019organisme, i de l\u2019altra, l\u2019organisme allibera una s\u00e8rie de productes qu\u00edmics que degraden l\u2019adrenalina i la noradrenalina, amb la sensaci\u00f3 de desactivaci\u00f3 conseq\u00fcent.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tit_azul color_azul\">Quan estem sotmesos a un nivell d\u2019activaci\u00f3 mol tinten i\/o sostingut, els efectes produ\u00efts pels canvis fisiol\u00f2gics es converteixen en sensacions f\u00edsiques desagradables<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>La contracci\u00f3 dels grans grups musculars que prepara l\u2019organisme per a l\u2019acci\u00f3 es reconverteix en sensacions de tensions musculars o, fins i tot, dolor, tremolors, espasmes, rampes i batzegades. Aquestes \u00faltimes sensacions es produeixen per l\u2019acci\u00f3 de l\u2019\u00e0cid l\u00e0ctic, un producte que es deriva de la generaci\u00f3 d\u2019energia, que quan resta als m\u00fasculs acaba actuant com un t\u00f2xic.<\/p>\n<p>La dilataci\u00f3 pupil\u00b7lar que permet que entri m\u00e9s llum a l\u2019ull i augmenta la discriminaci\u00f3 visual, acaba creant mol\u00e8sties com la visi\u00f3 borrosa, la sensibilitat a la llum, la boirina o els punts lluminosos.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019augment de la pressi\u00f3 sangu\u00ednia i la freq\u00fc\u00e8ncia card\u00edaca per intensificar el transport de nutrients i oxigen, es viuen com a palpitacions o taquic\u00e0rdia.<\/p>\n<p>La sudoraci\u00f3 profusa apareix per la necessitat de l\u2019organisme de refrigerar-se, i allibera la calor generada en la producci\u00f3 d\u2019energia.<\/p>\n<p>Algunes vegades, la redistribuci\u00f3, per part del torrent sanguini, dels nutrients i de l\u2019oxigen a les zones on s\u00f3n m\u00e9s necessaris pot produir la p\u00e8rdua de sensibilitat, formigueig, pal\u00b7lidesa i fred (especialment a les mans i als peus).<\/p>\n<p>El fet que la digesti\u00f3 (i la secreci\u00f3 de saliva) sigui m\u00e9s lenta o es pari pot generar mol\u00e8sties estomacals, n\u00e0usees, diarrea i la sensaci\u00f3 de boca seca.<\/p>\n<p>La redistribuci\u00f3 del flux sanguini cerebral que facilita que l\u2019organisme es concentri el l\u2019acci\u00f3 (lluitar o escapar), m\u00e9s que no pas en l\u2019an\u00e0lisi reflexiu, crea problemes com l\u2019atenci\u00f3 selectiva enfront el perill, dificultat per pensar amb claredat o confusi\u00f3, mareig i sensaci\u00f3 de irrealitat.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019augment de la freq\u00fc\u00e8ncia i intensitat de la respiraci\u00f3, ideals per a tenir m\u00e9s subministrament d\u2019oxigen als m\u00fasculs, es pot transformar en hiperventilaci\u00f3, fet que comporta que es redueixi el nivell de di\u00f2xid de carboni a la sang; es desencadenen una s\u00e8rie de sensacions desagradables com ara: formigueig, mareig, debilitat, sensaci\u00f3 de mareig, sudoraci\u00f3, calfreds, visi\u00f3 borrosa, taquic\u00e0rdia, nus a la gola, tremolors, sensaci\u00f3 de irrealitat, opressi\u00f3\/dolor al pit, sensaci\u00f3 de falta d\u2019aire i cansament.<\/p>\n<p>Normalment, la resposta de lluita-fugida-bloqueig descrita anteriorment, i la activaci\u00f3 que la caracteritza, \u00e9s molt oport\u00fa davant una situaci\u00f3 de perill que comporta moviment o despla\u00e7ament. <span class=\"color_azul\">La q\u00fcesti\u00f3 \u00e9s que moltes de les situacions amena\u00e7adores a les quals l\u2019home actual s\u2019enfronta no requereixen, per solucionar-ho, d\u2019aquesta resposta motora.
