Generalment,<span class=\"color_azul\"> la hiperventilaci\u00f3 produeix una s\u00e8rie de conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncies en el nostre organisme que poder arribar a ser for\u00e7a desagradables i, fins i tot, alarmants si un no en sap la causa<\/span>. Per\u00f2 com es veur\u00e0 a continuaci\u00f3, no es tracta d\u2019un fenomen perill\u00f3s.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tit_azul\">Qu\u00e8 \u00e9s la respiraci\u00f3?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Vegem com funciona la respiraci\u00f3. Necessitem respirar per poder dotar el nostre cos d\u2019energia. Els nutrients que prenem quan mengem i bevem han de ser transformats en energia per mitj\u00e0 de processos bioqu\u00edmics complexos per als quals \u00e9s necess\u00e0ria la pres\u00e8ncia d\u2019oxigen.<\/p>\n<p>Cada vegada que inspirem, introdu\u00efm aire carregat d\u2019oxigen (O<sup>2<\/sup>) als nostres pulmons. Aquest oxigen ser\u00e0 recollit per la sang en els capil\u00b7lars que existeixen al final dels bronqu\u00edols per ser transportat cap al cor. Una vegada all\u00e0, el cor bombejar\u00e0 la sang perqu\u00e8 arribi oxigen a tot el cos. L\u2019oxigen ajudar\u00e0 a transformar els nutrients en energia per mitj\u00e0 de reaccions qu\u00edmiques. Com a efecte d\u2019aquest proc\u00e9s, es genera di\u00f2xid de carboni (CO<sup>2<\/sup>), que ser\u00e0 recollit per la sang per portar-lo cap al cor i, des d\u2019aqu\u00ed, cap als pulmons. Aquesta sang, quan arribi als capil\u00b7lars dels pulmons, es despendr\u00e0 del CO<sup>2<\/sup> perqu\u00e8 puguem expirar-lo i recollir novament O<sup>2<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tit_azul\">Qu\u00e8 \u00e9s la hiperventilaci\u00f3?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>La hiperventilaci\u00f3 es defineix com aquella respiraci\u00f3 que est\u00e0 per damunt de les necessitats del nostre cos. \u00c9s a dir, \u00e9s una respiraci\u00f3 excessiva. Pot produir-se per respirar massa, respirar superficialment, prendre grans glopades d\u2019aire, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Quan s\u2019hiperventila, l\u2019equilibri entre el O<sup>2<\/sup> i el CO<sup>2<\/sup> es trenca, \u00e9s a dir, els nivells d\u2019O<sup>2<\/sup> s\u2019incrementen i els de CO<sup>2<\/sup> disminueixen. L\u2019equilibri existent entre aquests dos gasos als pulmons influeix directament en les proporcions que existeixen d\u2019O<sup>2<\/sup> i de CO<sup>2<\/sup> a la sang, de manera que les quantitats de CO<sup>2<\/sup> en sang tamb\u00e9 disminuiran. Com a conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncia, b\u00e0sicament, passen dues coses:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span class=\"color_azul\">La disminuci\u00f3 de CO<sup>2<\/sup> en la sang es detecta pel cervell, que immediatament intentar\u00e0 posar-hi remei. La millor manera i la m\u00e9s r\u00e0pida d\u2019aconseguir-ho \u00e9s reduint l\u2019impuls de respirar<\/span>, de manera que es redueixin considerablement les quantitats d\u2019O<sup>2<\/sup> inspirades i de CO<sup>2<\/sup> Aix\u00f2 significa que mentre estiguem hiperventilant, notarem que el nostre cos fa un esfor\u00e7 per respirar molt menys, sembla que el nostre cos es negui a respirar al mateix temps que ho est\u00e0vem fent. El m\u00e9s com\u00fa \u00e9s que intentem fer un esfor\u00e7 &nbsp;per intentar respirar m\u00e9s, cosa que es tradueix en que el desequilibri entre O<sup>2<\/sup> i CO<sup>2 <\/sup>que coment\u00e0vem anteriorment, no torni al seu estat normal, sin\u00f3 que es mant\u00e9 i, fins i tot, s\u2019agreuja. Si aix\u00f2 passa aix\u00ed, \u00e9s possible que el nostre cervell s\u2019esforci encara m\u00e9s per fer-nos respirar menys i, fins i tot, si ho considera necessari, parar moment\u00e0niament la nostra respiraci\u00f3 per equilibrar l\u2019intercanvi d\u2019O<sup>2<\/sup> i de CO<sup>2<\/sup>. Quan passa aix\u00f2 \u00e9s normal que ens espantem, especialment si no sabem per perqu\u00e8 passa. <span class=\"color_azul\">Mentre hiperventilem, \u00e9s a dir, mentre respirem per sobre de les nostres necessitats, notarem que el nostre cos reacciona dificultant-nos la respiraci\u00f3, de tal manera que el m\u00e9s senzill \u00e9s pensar que ens estem ofegant<\/span>. Cal detectar que aquest fenomen no \u00e9s en absolut perill\u00f3s, encara que es pot viure com a bastant desagradable.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><span class=\"color_azul\">Els descensos del nivell de CO<sup>2<\/sup> en sang produeixen un altre fenomen en el nostre organisme: una alteraci\u00f3 del pH a la sang<\/span>. Un correcte equilibri d\u2019aquests gasos en la sang fa que el pH es mantingui a un nivell constant adequat perqu\u00e8 pugui realitzar les seves funcions de manera \u00f2ptima. Si aquest equilibri es trenca, la sang es torna alcalina. Quan aix\u00f2 passa, podem experimentar una s\u00e8rie de sensacions:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>formigueig<\/li>\n<li>rampes<\/li>\n<li>marejos<\/li>\n<li>sensacions de fred o calor<\/li>\n<li>tensi\u00f3 muscular<\/li>\n<li>cames d\u00e8bils<\/li>\n<li>dificultats de visi\u00f3<\/li>\n<li>palpitacions<\/li>\n<li>tremolors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Aquestes sensacions poden resultar desagradables tamb\u00e9, en especial, si no les entenem. Com en el cas anterior, experimentar aquestes sensacions no \u00e9s perill\u00f3s ni indicatiu que alguna cosa funcioni malament en el nostre cos.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"color_azul\">Com a resum<\/span>, quan una persona hiperventila, altera les proporcions adequades d\u2019oxigen i di\u00f2xid de carboni que existeixen a la sang. El nostre cos, quan detecta que aix\u00f2 est\u00e0 passant, intenta posar-hi remei i for\u00e7ar-nos a respirar a un ritme bastant m\u00e9s baix del que estem fent, provoca sensacions similars a les dificultats per respirar. A causa dels canvis qu\u00edmics que es produeixen a la sang, tamb\u00e9 \u00e9s possible que notem algunes de les sensacions referides anteriorment. S\u00f3n un conjunt de sensacions que ens poden sorprendre i resultar-nos desagradables o molestes, per\u00f2 no s\u00f3n perilloses.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tit_azul\">Qu\u00e8 fer si s\u2019hiperventila?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Si \u00e9s la primera vegada que aix\u00f2 passa, el m\u00e9s aconsellable \u00e9s anar al metge perqu\u00e8 ens faci un exploraci\u00f3 i intenti detectar si la hiperventilaci\u00f3 es deu a una malaltia f\u00edsica o \u00e9s producte de l\u2019ansietat.<\/p>\n<p>En cas que hiperventili per motius d\u2019ansietat, es pot intentar posar-hi remei:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>s\u2019ha d\u2019<span class=\"color_azul\">intentar que la respiraci\u00f3 es torni regular.<\/span> No s\u2019ha d\u2019intentar respirar m\u00e9s acceleradament. En cas que se s\u00e0piga alguna t\u00e8cnica de respiraci\u00f3 (com les que poden ensenyar els terapeutes), \u00e9s un bon moment per aplicar-la.<\/li>\n<li>s\u2019ha de <span class=\"color_azul\">respirar m\u00e9s lentament i de manera menys superficial:<\/span> es pot intentar respirar amb els llavis frunzits, com si es volgu\u00e9s apagar una espelma. O es pot tapar la boca i una fossa nasal i respirar, simplement, per la que queda destapada. Si es fa aix\u00f2 s\u2019aconsegueix augmentar la quantitat de CO<sup>2<\/sup> als pulmons.<\/li>\n<li>es pot <span class=\"color_azul\">respirar durant uns minuts col\u00b7locant una bossa de paper sobre la boca i el nas<\/span>: s\u2019aconseguir\u00e0 inspirar part del CO<sup>2<\/sup> que ja ha expirat, de manera que n\u2019augmentar\u00e0 la quantitat a l\u2019organisme. Avui dia, alguns professionals de la salut no ho recomanen, ja que segons la seva opini\u00f3, l\u2019increment de CO<sup>2<\/sup> que es produeix \u00e9s massa alt.<\/li>\n<li>Es pot <span class=\"color_azul\">intentar fer qualsevol activitat que resulti relaxant<\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"tit_azul\">Qu\u00e8 \u00e9s la hiperventilaci\u00f3 adaptativa? O, per qu\u00e8 quan es fa esport no pateixo aquests efectes?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>En fer esport, el nostre cos necessita m\u00e9s energia que si no f\u00e9ssim exercici. Com que aquesta energia s\u2019obt\u00e9 a partir de les reaccions qu\u00edmiques entre els nutrients i l\u2019O<sup>2<\/sup>,el nostre cos necessita incrementar el ritme respiratori i, en conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncia, obtenir m\u00e9s oxigen. Aquest increment d\u2019O<sup>2<\/sup>, com que s\u2019aprofita totalment en els processos d\u2019obtenci\u00f3 d\u2019energia, produir\u00e0 quantitats grans de CO<sup>2<\/sup>, de manera que l\u2019equilibri entre els dos gasos no es veur\u00e0 alterat. Tindrem m\u00e9s quantitat d\u2019oxigen que si estigu\u00e9ssim en rep\u00f2s, per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 tindrem m\u00e9s quantitat de di\u00f2xid de carboni.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9s per aix\u00f2 que quan es fa esport, no tenim les mateixes sensacions que si s\u2019hiperventila per motius d\u2019ansietat.
