Per exemple, moltes f\u00f2bies espec\u00edfiques acostumen a comen\u00e7ar despr\u00e9s de la viv\u00e8ncia d\u2019un succ\u00e9s traum\u00e0tic relacionat amb l\u2019objecte f\u00f2bic: por d\u2019utilitzar els ascensors despr\u00e9s de quedar-s\u2019hi tancat, por d\u2019anar amb cotxe o de conduir despr\u00e9s de patir un accident al volant, etc. En aquests casos, es considera que la persona associa un est\u00edmul \u2013per exemple, els ascensors o els cotxes\u2013 a una resposta emocional negativa \u2013por, tristesa, f\u00e0stic\u2013. La persona ha apr\u00e8s que la pres\u00e8ncia d\u2019aquest objecte \u2013per exemple, l\u2019ascensor\u2013 pot anar seguida d\u2019un estat emocional de por o d\u2019ansietat. La por que la situaci\u00f3 pugui repetir-se s\u2019ha adquirit mitjan\u00e7ant un mecanisme d\u2019aprenentatge que s\u2019ha anomenat condicionament cl\u00e0ssic. Aquesta por es mant\u00e9 perqu\u00e8 la persona evita enfrontar-se a la situaci\u00f3 \u2013condicionament instrumental\u2013.<\/p>\n<p>No obstant aix\u00f2, <span class=\"color_azul\">en moltes ocasions, els problemes d\u2019ansietat no tenen un desencadenant tan espec\u00edfic<\/span>. \u00c9s for\u00e7a habitual, per exemple, que l\u2019inici d\u2019alguns atacs de p\u00e0nic vagi precedit d\u2019una \u00e8poca d\u2019estr\u00e8s, de problemes laborals o familiars, de consum excessiu de subst\u00e0ncies, de cansament, de mala alimentaci\u00f3 o de falta de son. Aquests factors poden propiciar el desencadenament d\u2019un atac de p\u00e0nic en abs\u00e8ncia d\u2019un factor precipitant espec\u00edfic que n\u2019expliqui l\u2019aparici\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"color_azul\"> Per tant, no nom\u00e9s els esdeveniments vitals i les situacions traum\u00e0tiques poden precedir l\u2019aparici\u00f3 d\u2019un trastorns d\u2019ansietat, sino que tamb\u00e9 els estressors que formen part de la nostra vida quotidiana<\/span> \u2013les baralles, els problemes a la feina o amb la parella, el fet d\u2019estar a l\u2019atur, etc.\u2013 poden desencadenar aquests problemes. Els estudis sobre la relaci\u00f3 entre els esdeveniments estressants i els problemes psicol\u00f2gics indiquen que la intensitat de l\u2019impacte de l\u2019estressor en la persona no dep\u00e8n fonamentalment del tipus d\u2019estressor \u2013esdeveniment vital o quotidi\u00e0\u2013, ni de la seva quantitat o de la seva durada \u2013agut o cr\u00f2nic\u00ac.<\/p>\n<p>El que realment determina el grau en qu\u00e8 un esdeveniment o una circumst\u00e0ncia pot afectar o no la nostra salut mental \u00e9s la valoraci\u00f3 subjectiva que en realitzi la persona. Si un estressor \u00e9s percebut per la persona com a amena\u00e7ant, l\u2019impacte ser\u00e0 superior que si no el percep d\u2019aquesta manera. S\u2019han estudiat els par\u00e0metres o les caracter\u00edstiques dels estressors que determinen la valoraci\u00f3 subjectiva que en realitza la persona. Alguns d\u2019aquests par\u00e0metres s\u00f3n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"color_azul\">la novetat de l\u2019estressor<\/span>: all\u00f2 nou es percep com m\u00e9s amena\u00e7ant que all\u00f2 conegut.<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"color_azul\">la seva predictibilitat<\/span>: \u00e9s un par\u00e0metre relacionat amb l\u2019anterior, ja que es considera que si un esdeveniment o una circumst\u00e0ncia s\u00f3n previsibles desencadenen una reacci\u00f3 menys intensa.<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"color_azul\">el grau en qu\u00e8 podem controlar la seva aparici\u00f3<\/span> o la seva durada: com m\u00e9s sensaci\u00f3 de control, menys impacte.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>D\u2019altra banda, no s\u00f3n nom\u00e9s les caracter\u00edstiques dels estressors les que determinen el seu impacte en la nostra salut mental. <span class=\"color_azul\">Un esdeveniment \u00e9s percebut pel subjecte com a amena\u00e7ant en un grau o en un altre en funci\u00f3 dels recursos de qu\u00e8 disposi per afrontar-lo<\/span>. Si una persona percep un estressor com a amena\u00e7ant, per\u00f2 compta amb recursos per enfrontar-s\u2019hi de manera efica\u00e7, el grau d\u2019amena\u00e7a percebut ser\u00e0 menor que si es veu incapa\u00e7 de fer-li front. \u00bfDe quins recursos disposem per afrontar els esdeveniments vitals i els problemes de la vida quotidiana? Els principals s\u00f3n el grau de compet\u00e8ncia percebut, els estils d\u2019afrontament i el suport social.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tit_azul\"> La compet\u00e8ncia percebuda<\/span><\/p>\n<p>El grau de compet\u00e8ncia percebut fa refer\u00e8ncia a la confian\u00e7a que t\u00e9 cada persona en la seva capacitat per afrontar de manera exitosa una situaci\u00f3. No n\u2019hi ha prou amb tenir recursos per afrontar el problema, sino que \u00e9s important creure que podem superar-lo. Aquest sentiment de compet\u00e8ncia est\u00e0 determinat, com a m\u00ednim en part, per l\u2019experi\u00e8ncia pr\u00e8via \u2013altres vegades que la persona s\u2019hagi enfrontat a situacions estressants i hagi tingut \u00e8xit o hagi fracassat\u2013 i per l\u2019autoestima \u2013valoraci\u00f3 personal i subjectiva que cada persona fa de si mateixa\u2013.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tit_azul\"> Estils d\u2019afrontament<\/span><\/p>\n<p>S\u2019ha definit l\u2019afrontament com \u201cels esfor\u00e7os, tant d\u2019acci\u00f3 com intraps\u00edquics, orientats a dominar, a reduir, a tolerar i a minimitzar les demandes internes o ambientals i els conflictes la resoluci\u00f3 dels quals excedeix els recursos de la persona\u201d (Cohen y Lazarus, 1979). La manera com s\u2019afronten les situacions estressants o els problemes varia segons la persona i \u00e9s diferent en funci\u00f3 de la situaci\u00f3. No obstant aix\u00f2, els estils d\u2019afrontament es poden agrupar, de manera b\u00e0sica, en tres categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"color_azul\">An\u00e0lisi i avaluaci\u00f3 del problema<\/span>: es realitza una an\u00e0lisi de la situaci\u00f3 i se sospesen els pros i els contres de cadascuna de les alternatives de soluci\u00f3 del problema.<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"color_azul\">Evitaci\u00f3 de la font d\u2019estr\u00e8s<\/span> o fugida: s\u2019evita la situaci\u00f3 o l\u2019estressor.<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"color_azul\">Control de l\u2019emoci\u00f3<\/span>: les estrat\u00e8gies d\u2019afrontament s\u2019encaminen a disminuir l\u2019emoci\u00f3 provocada per l\u2019estressor \u2013relaxaci\u00f3, mantenir la calma, distreure l\u2019atenci\u00f3\u2013.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Altres autors creuen que l\u2019afrontament dels problemes pot ser<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"color_azul\">Actiu:&nbsp;<\/span>el subjecte participa activament en la recerca de solucions del problema o aplica estrat\u00e8gies per reduir l\u2019estressor o per eliminar-lo.<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"color_azul\">Passiu<\/span>: el subjecte evita la situaci\u00f3, creu que l\u2019afrontament del problema dep\u00e8n de l\u2019atzar o de la participaci\u00f3 de tercers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"color_azul\"> L\u2019estil d\u2019afrontament m\u00e9s adequat ser\u00e0 aquell que combini l\u2019avaluaci\u00f3 del problema amb la recerca activa d\u2019estrat\u00e8gies per afrontar-lo i per controlar les emocions que la situaci\u00f3 hagi desencadenat<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tit_azul\">Suport social<\/span><\/p>\n<p>La car\u00e8ncia de suport social s\u2019ha considerat un dels factors m\u00e9s potents com a desencadenant de problemes de salut, psicol\u00f2gics i socials.
